The photo used for the background image of a collage really decides the overall tone and feel for the final artwork. Out of all the images that I was given for this collage, the photo of the couple dancing was the one that caught my heart. My goal with wedding collages is to try to express not only the emotion of the wedding day, but all the days leading up to it and if possible, the days after. I really appreciate when I’m given the program and invitation for the wedding because it really adds some punch to the final piece.
